Welcome to NextGen Children's Ministries
NextGen is the title for our overall children's ministries at Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN. Our mission is to teach God's Word clearly, joyfully, and boldly to children. When we do that, we pray that the result will be that these children will walk closely with Jesus and "set their hope in God" for their entire life. (Psalms 78:8)
We also desire to help equip our families with the tools to disciple their own children, as that truly is the Biblical priority. Parents teach their children, who should then in turn teach their children. Truly, the legacy of walking with God is passed on generationally (Deut. 6, Psalm 78). The teaching should first come from home, and secondly should come from the church. We're excited to partner with you as we embrace the amazing privilege to help the next generation set their hope in God! We look forward to the chance to connect and serve with you! |

Meet the Children's Pastor |

NextGen ministries began officially in August of 2017. We hired our first children's pastor in June of that same year as we recommitted ourselves to prioritizing our children's ministries. This vision and process has continued to grow, and we're looking forward to how God will continue to lead our children's ministries in the future!
